Nanosecond was the standard until recent years and works better with larger particles of ink.  Nanosecond lasers were effective at lightening the tattoo, but would often struggle to completely remove the tattoo as ink particles became smaller.  This would would often lead to a faded tattoo that was unable to be completely removed.

A few years ago, the picosecond laser was developed to completely remove particles of ink towards the end of treatment.

Our Cutera enlighten® laser works by combining nanosecond with picosecond for the quickest and safest removal possible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1497009842182{margin-bottom: 50px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Safe for All Skin Types Effective for All Colors of Ink” tab_id=”1497008891322-b46aa65f-39e5″][vc_column_text]Early laser tattoo removal devices could not work on dark skin and they would struggle to remove red, and green tattoos.

Since January of 2016, we have helped hundreds of clients remove their unwanted tattoos.  Unlike outdated laser technology, our laser works on every skin type and all colors of ink except white.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Frequently Asked Questions” tab_id=”1497008920636-a44b1c55-08f8″][vc_column_text]Does it hurt?

Tattoo removal can be uncomfortable. We make it as painless as we can with the use of a pre-treatment numbing cream.

Will it leave scars?

Older methods of tattoo removal carried a high risk of scarring due to the thermal trauma caused to skin tissue.  Enlighten’s superior technology in the hands of our skilled team means scarring is unlikely.

Will the tattoo be visible after treatment?

In most cases, tattoos disappear entirely. Certain ink colors are more difficult to clear than others. We will make sure you understand what to expect during your initial consultation.

What is the aftercare?

We recommending keeping the area out of direct sun for two weeks after each visit and to not go swimming in any non-chlorinated water (rivers, lakes) for two-weeks after treatment.

How much does it cost?

You can expect to spend $500-$3,500 depending on the size. “Sleeve” tattoos may cost more. Customers pay as they go and we do offer discounts for multiple and larger tattoos.

How long do I wait between treatments?

We recommend waiting at least 8 weeks between treatments to give your immune system enough time to remove the ink particles.

How long does an appointment take?

Most first time appointments last about thirty minutes which includes time for paperwork.  Follow-up treatments typically can be done in about 15-20 minutes.

How long will it take for complete removal?

Most tattoos can be removed within six to eight treatments.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1437376502455{margin-bottom: 60px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Free Consultations In-Person or Online” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]Add a photo in the file section for a free tattoo removal quote through e-mail.[/vc_column_text][stm_contact_form_7 form=”1373″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
